Before arriving to T.P.S.A Fernando began his youth soccer experience with TYSA and ended his Georgia Youth Soccer Career playing for Alianza Soccer Club while guest playing for Strictly Soccer and West Pines in Florida at Super-Y levels. He played high school soccer in Gwinnett County in Georgia for Brookwood High School and was later recruited by Deportivo Toluca Futbol Club where he relocated and collaborated for the Apertura season in 2009.After playing for the youth professional team, Coach Fernando returned to America where he continued to play at collegiate level. Since 2011 Coach Fernando spent two years coaching for Decatur-DeKalb YMCA Wolves coaching Academy and Select levels. Fernando Tlacuatl was then invited to be part of the ODP staff in GA where he contributed by evaluating players who seeked to join the state program. In 2015 coach Fernando was the assistant coach at Dalton State College and he now serves Deportivo Toluca FC as Executive Director for the youth development academies in the USA.
Eric Gonzales- Club Director/Director of Coaches
Eric Gonzalez is the Vice President for Motion Industries Mexico; a large multinational corporation whose principal business is the distribution of industrial machinery parts. Mr. Gonzalez also serves on the Advisory Board at the Oregon State University, College of Business. Recently, he has joined others in the in forming a community outreach program. This program is specifically aimed at finding ways to offer Hispanic players an opportunity to receive higher level athletic training at an affordable cost. Eric is a Coach and has now led his two B2003 and B2002 recreational youth soccer teams to 4 consecutive season 1 st place victories. With only 3 losses since Fall of 2015, Eric was motivated to provide his players with a higher level of training and personal development.
Guillermo Hernandez- Head Coach
Guillermo Hernandez is a well respected Coach in the region who follows a comprehensive training system. Guillermo has led teams to Regional and State victories. Guillermo will manage the Academic and Athletic Development according to the Toluca FC standards. He will be responsible for the training curriculum and insure that coaches are informed, trained and able to deliver effective training to their players. Guillermo’s five stage approach to training is proven and repeatable
